D'Antoni has this Knicks group thinking it's better than it is, and that's a good thing. These guys expect to compete, and certainly expect to win against all mid-line competition (and below). They are holding themselves to a high standard, and Coach Mike is to thank for that.

Nate Robinson and Tim Thomas contributed 26 and 24 points, respectively, coming off the bench. The Knicks also went 15-32 (46.9%) from behind the arc, but that was not enough.

Bench (those that see consistent action): F-Al Harrington, G-Nate Robinson, F-Tim Thomas
On a given night, any of those players -- with the exception of Jeffries -- can be considered New York's premier player. Harrington and Thomas look good when they are feeling it, but their ups are seemingly always accompanied by downs. Robinson, Richardson, and Chandler are hot-and-cold as well.
