The Nets need to utilize their experience (Vince Carter, Devin Harris, Keyon Dooling, Bobby Simmons, and Jarvis Hayes) and poise in order to thrive in tonight's match-up.

New Jersey has hit a bit of a lull the past couple of weeks, but they are coming off a win against the Memphis Grizzlies, a team not all that dissimilar from the Thunder. The Grizzlies are built around a young trio as well, that of O.J. Mayo, Rudy Gay, and Mike Conley Jr., though Conley has only recently made his presence felt.

Not only did the Nets fall to the Bucks on a last-second floater by shifty point guard Luke Ridnour, but they also lost Yi Jianlian for (at least) a month in tonight's contest. Yi broke the pinky finger on his right hand, which of course, is his shooting hand. Depending on the healing process, his return may be as far as six or seven weeks away.

s a talented but inconsistent young forward, and the same can be said of rookie center Brook Lopez. Keyon Dooling and Jarvis Hayes have been superb off the bench for head coach Lawrence Frank, but they'll need more help if we're talking championship.
