rgence of starters like Slowey, Glen Perkins, and Scott Baker.  Their outfield defense, led by Carlos Gomez and Denard Span, is also outstanding.  Gomez crashed into the centerfield fence in Cleveland on Friday and hurt his back making an unbelievable catch.  He was carted off the field and taken to a local hospital, but his back is better and he is day-to-day.
