Who do Mets fans want up with the game on the line more than David Wright? It was the bottom of the 11th and after a lead off walk to Jose Reyes and letting two other runners on base by the Pirates, David Wright came out and boy did he come out strong. A pitch down the middle had Wrights name written all over it as he hit it just fair for the walk off win. This had Mets fans going buck-wild and a feeling that we have been waiting for the past few games. After struggles from Sanchez and Wagner, and a good outing from starter Johan Santana, the Mets were somehow able to hang on. Billie Wagner, who gave up his first run of the season, have this to say: "You to get all the outs, you have to play this game tough, you have to make the plays make the pitches and we were really able to out last them thats about it." On Johan Santan manager WIllie Randolph said, "Boy, he was nasty!" I was extra EXTRA happy about tonights game. Most importantly, Jose Reyes finally got goin. He had a triple a single and stolen base tonight and who likes more than when Johan Santana steals a base???? I'm not going to go on and rant about how Delgado is either like anyone else, because even though he is struggling remember this is Delgado he always starts off slow. By the way it is not just his batting they need, he comes with leadership. Every player loves him and he does wonders with the young kids on the team. -------Now to move on from this game, lets talk about Keith Hernandez. On the just for men commercial he is clearly sporting a full set of brown hair. Than I look in the studio, and hes got grey on the sides. I than saw a commercial without Keith on touch of grey just for men. This guy has got to be using touch of grey if he's got grey on the sides. This might just be me but yo Keith, stay off the supplements man!!! Stay classy mets fans, Corey Nill.
