Yeah, I think it will be interesting to see if the Phillies trade for Erik Bedard or A.J. Burnett, because they sorely need pitching and have the offensive depth to possibly make a deal. Add to that list of Oakland pitchers Aaron Harang, who had a few good years in Cincinnati until this year, and Jeremy Bonderman, whose been solid for Detroit when healthy. Mulder had a pretty good season (16-8, 3.64 ERA) his first year in St. Louis but has just been riddled with arm injuries ever since. I'm not positive but I think I heard he tried to rush back from a shoulder injury in 2006 and ended up in even worse shape. He was also hurt in '03 so I wonder if any of his more recent injuries are related. Do you think the Cubs gave up too much for Harden? I mean Gallagher looks pretty good and Murton seemed to be a fan favorite in Chicago. I think he can be solid if he gets more playing time.
